Nik Cornish

I am currently a Web Designer and Frontend Developer at mytheresa.com. My daily responsibilities include user interface design, creation and development of user interface elements, and ongoing management of our internal user interaction style guide. I have in-depth experience with Responsive Web Design principles, including design considerations for multi-language websites, inclusive of RTL (e.g. Arabic) layouts and asian languages (CJK) considerations.

I was hired in September 2013 to initially support the creation and development of a Samsung Brand Guidelines document. In addition I took over responsibilities for the design and development of the MDLab website.

I was hired in September 2011 as a Graphic Design intern. I quickly took on further responsibilities in the company and obtained a full time position in 2012. Initially I was involved in advertising and promotions for our social games and publishing networks, as well as creating 2D and 3D in-game items for social games. In addition I was responsible for the company rebranding, the redesign of our corporate website, landing page and user interface design, and outgoing business to business materials.

As part of the Online Learning team, I was responsible for front-end web development, graphic design and video production. I also worked with large scale LMS (Learning Management Systems) such as Blackboard and Moodle, and also on small custom web projects.
