Hi 👋 I'm Julian, a highly self-motivated software engineer with over a decade of experience in building and maintaining distributed backend services, RESTful APIs and web-based frontend applications. I'm used to work on complex systems in challenging domains with operational responsibility and am passionate about good software design and architecture. Having a growth mindset, I embrace continuous learning and acquired broad and profound knowledge in various technologies, paradigms and practices over the years. Besides my technical expertise, I have a good product sense, excellent problem solving and communication skills, a strong work ethic and attention to detail. I naturally gravitate towards leading roles and enjoy working collaboratively in self-organizing product teams focused on outcomes rather than output. I graduated with distinction in Computer Science (M.Sc.) from the University of Paderborn.
